My name is Cristian Tapia, and I’m a consultant at Adviser Partner, where I’m passionate about developing people, teams, and sales organizations. My philosophy is: What you do shapes who you become—so who do you want to be, and what do you need to do to get there? With a background as a soccer coach and a consultant in sales and leadership, I help others grow through inspiration and practical tools, where trust, structure, and accountability drive performance.
At Adviser Partner, I build high-performing teams by strengthening collaboration and motivation. I help sales organizations become more proactive, with better customer service and profitability. And I support leaders in fostering engagement and achieving long-term results. I also help non-sales professionals strengthen customer relationships and the brand. Clients see me as inspiring, educational, and down-to-earth—someone who motivates others to grow.
I joined Adviser Partner because I’ve always been passionate about helping others improve—in sales and leadership. After more than 20 years in various sales and leadership roles, Adviser Partner—which I was familiar with from my time as a sales manager—was the obvious choice; they’re the best at developing others in sales. Here, I gain deeper insight into how organizations and leadership work across industries, which I use to help others succeed—a true privilege.
As a father of five sons and a youth soccer coach, I draw inspiration from sports and strong teams to help others reach their full potential. Get in touch, and let’s take the next step together—with a full focus on results!

We Love Salespeople
In this episode of We Love Sales People, I talk with Jonas Olofsson, CEO of Adviser Partner, about what truly makes a team successful. We share experiences from Adviser Partner and highlight three keys to strong teams: clear goals over structure, development through challenge, and the balance between affirmation and constructive criticism. You’ll also gain insights into trust, roles, and culture that enable certain teams to perform at their best—year after year.
By putting PR before sales. The technician, project manager, or consultant sets the tone with the customer—which determines how easy the next step will be—for, say, the colleague who is the “actual” salesperson. We practice three simple micro-behaviors: explain why you’re doing something (create understanding), seek agreement (confirm understanding), and ask a curious follow-up question about what would actually help the customer (the potential). Everyone can contribute to and learn these!
Trust comes only after a promise is kept and through transparency; everyone contributes, and everyone knows what others are doing. That’s why we must clarify roles, make decisions visible to everyone, and normalize the practice of each person highlighting one success and one obstacle during our check-ins. When everyone knows who is responsible for what, why a decision was made, and when the next step will take place, much of the friction disappears. This doesn’t take months—you can see a difference in just one week if we set up the structure correctly.
Because the right question, asked in the right way, allows the person asking the question to reach an insight on their own. And that is the key to all sales. Insight, not information or instruction. Those who find the solution on their own usually feel that it is more valuable than if someone else had come up with the answer.
