My name is Henrik Nyström and I am a consultant at Adviser Partner. My sales journey started with door-to-door sales of vacuum cleaners - an incredibly tough but educational period that taught me the importance of perseverance and discipline in the sales profession. My background in sports has further strengthened my ability to work in a structured way, set goals and stay focused, qualities I always bring to my assignments. After that, I worked for seven years in the copy industry in Stockholm, where I developed and gained deeper experience in sales and customer relations.

  • Previously, I started, ran and sold my own company in the financial industry with 4 colleagues, and that experience gave me invaluable insights into what it takes to build successful teams, create effective sales processes and develop strong company cultures. I also learned that it is possible to achieve more than you think if you set your mind to something.

    I've always been drawn to companies with strong sales cultures, and that's what attracted me to Adviser Partner - here I get to be part of an organization with a clear focus on sales and results, while having the freedom to run my own assignments and deliver real value to clients.

Frequently asked questions

  • As a sales manager, you should sit down with your sales reps and ask them to set a goal that they want to achieve. This is a good start to give the salespeople a carrot that they have decided themselves.

  • Help them to set their own goals that they hope to achieve. After that, help them to work out some milestones that they need to do to reach the goal (number of meetings, etc.).

  • As far as possible, avoid sending quotes. Instead, schedule a physical or digital meeting with the customer and go through the quote together.
