My name is Joakim Turesson and as a consultant at Adviser Partner, my calling is to turn sales into something magical, where people meet and results are created. My journey started with a childhood dream of becoming a fighter pilot, but life had other plans.
At the age of 21, I was thrown into the IT industry, where, after just one year as a salesperson, I became a sales manager. That role taught me how heavy experience sometimes weighs. I was young, hungry, but realized I needed to grow. So I moved to the client side, where I sold myself as a consultant to project manage and support complex procurements.

At the age of 24, I started my first company in civil engineering, and just a year later I founded my second, which I sold to a major player. There, I became the sales manager for their major telecom investments.
During those years, we hired Adviser Partner, and I was floored by their approach - concrete tools that made our entire organization sharper, faster. Even then, the dream was born that one day I would be part of their team. But the journey there was not straightforward. I started another business, where we helped companies turn satisfied customers into ambassadors. With a lot of traveling, I built a broad experience of all the nuances of sales.
In 2020, I called the CEO of Adviser Partners, and after three days I was on board. Today, some customers call me "Dr. Turesson - The Sales Doctor" as I am a real sales nerd, obsessed with the systematic and process-oriented in B2B sales, and even more passionate when I get to weave those principles into B2C to create magic.
For me, sales is about people - seeing the customer as a person, not just a business. When I coach and see the penny drop with my customers, when they grasp the tools and see the connections, then there is a WOW feeling that is unbeatable. That feeling can only be matched by a day in the Stockholm archipelago or a ride on the slalom slope or when I cook a gourmet dinner for the family.
